This town is less than pleasant on it's good days. Recently, it has been down right ghastly. Even by my standards. I assure you, my standards on what is bad is are far slimmer than everyone else's.

My shoulder hurts from where I was slammed about but other than that, I believe I came out of it mostly unscathed. Oddly enough, I believe Gwen's friend Jo jumped me away before they could burn me. That must be an unpleasant conversation. I'm sure my death would put a pleasant punctuation on her day.

I see Jack and Ianto have returned though. Hello boys.

Tomorrow is my mother's birthday. I don't know how I feel about it just now. I miss her so much. I honestly think I would be so much different if she had not died. If my father had not killed her.

In any case, I won't be around much tomorrow. My classes are officially canceled for the day. You all know what you should be doing. I expect your assignments that are due to be in my mailbox and I expect future ones to be on time.  You are all old enough now, you don't need me to hold your hand.

I'm going to take a bath. Have some tea and just relax for the night. I apologize to anyone that I might have planned something with. I assure you, I will get back to it after this next few days are over with.
